Todd Zell - Vice President

Todd Zell

Comes from a successful family legacy in building and construction. Mr. Zell is in charge of the day to day operations of Zell Builders as well as serving as project manager for what the firm considers it’s “high profile projects”. Mr. Zell’s “can do attitude”, and approach to client service are the foundation on which Zell Builders has built a reputation as a quality builder and general contractor. In 2002 Mr. Zell brought to the position of Vice President over 28 years of experience in many aspects of construction and building operations. Starting in the business as a field laborer and working his way up to a project manager with other firms, Mr. Zell has developed a solid understanding of all aspects of construction. Todd has experience in office, residential, retail, mixed use, hospitality and recreational construction. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Todd is a Licensed Construction Supervisor, and a member of the Association of Project Managers and Building Trades Association and member of the National Housing Association.

Kimberly Correia - Director of Operations

Kimberly Correia

Began working for Zell Builders in September 2001. Mrs. Correia's knowledge of the construction process and commitment to coordinating the ever changing needs of each project makes her a huge asset to the organization. Through her excellence in communication, she effectively coordinates office operations, field personnel, client's requests and works closely with subcontractors. Prior to joining Zell Companies, Kim held the position of Supervisor of Treasury Operations at Trust Insurance Company. In addition, she spent 6 years with the Town of Wareham's Community Development Authority and Economic Development & Industrial Corporation. Part of her responsibilities involved working with HUD's Housing Rehabilitation Program, writing grants for State and Federal community improvement and commercial projects. She gained essential experience working for the Town of Rochester as the Board Administrator for the Board of Health, Planning Board, Conservation Commission and Personnel Board. Kim holds Associates Degrees in Business Finance and Business Administration.

Tony Oliva - Project Management

25 years of construction experience in the residential and commercial real estate development and general contracting markets. Mr. Oliva joined T.M. Zell Development Co, Inc in June, 2005. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Oliva served as Vice President of Construction at Cresset Group, a commercial real estate firm specializing in development, construction management and property management, focusing on residential and commercial office projects. Prior to that, Mr. Oliva was a Vice President of Construction for PHN Inc.,a subsidiary of Intercontinental Developers, and as Senior Project Manager for Lee Kennedy Co. of Boston MA and Marshall Contractors (not ADP Marshall) of East Providence, RI. Mr. Oliva's experience includes design coordination, permitting, estimating, scheduling, and project management. His projects include both rehabilitation and ground-up construction, commercial office, industrial, single and multi-unit residential, and historic restoration for projects up to $30 million. Mr. Oliva received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Architecture from Princeton University.

Donna Barry

Donna Barry

Brings organization to the company. Prior to joining us Donna held the position of Accounting Assistant for Peabody Construction Company processing payable, payroll and benefit administration. Prior to the construction industry Donna was a Sr. Payable coordinator for 9 years at a major insurance company. She has certificates in Business communication and accounting from UMass Dartmouth and is our office Notary Public.

Jon Zell - CEO, Framing Specialist

Jon Zell

Responsible for the management of various commercial and residential construction projects. Specifically, Jon is responsible for the estimating of all bids and oversees the construction of a wide array of construction projects. He specializes in large scale, multi-unit projects with an emphasis on production framing and modularization. Jon has over 35 years of carpentry experience and 20 years as a business owner. Mr. Zell is a licensed Construction Supervisor in the state of Massachusetts.

Dennis Morrell - Estimator and Project Manager

Dennis Morrell

Responsible for estimating commercial and residential construction projects and managing the subsequent construction and completion of each project. Recent projects include a Marine Science Laboratory at Tabor Academy in Marion, MA for Su?olk Construction Company, Inc., a $600,000 project with emphasis placed upon preservation of the abutting wetlands. In addition to Tabor, Dennis estimated and managed an $800,000 exterior siding and trim package for a 116 unit condominium project in Malden, MA general contracted by A.J. Martini, Inc.Dennis has 8 years experience in the construction trade and holds an architectural engineering technology degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Ray Brown - Superintendent/Foreman

Ray Brown

Specializing in tenant fit-outs. Ray has completed projects ranging from 1,000 square feet to 20,000 square feet. Recent projects include Women’s Union and Tritek fit-outs in Boston, and a Cambridge tenant renovation. Currently Ray is working on an 18,000 square foot conversion of office space to a health club in downtown Boston. Prior to joining the company, Ray worked as a foreman at Otis Air Force Base, for a custom house builder and for Wrencon constructing tenant fit-outs for W. R. Grace & Co. Ray is a union carpenter with over 13 years in the construction trade.

Gordon Foote - Foreman

Gordon Foote

Specializing in framing and interior trim. Gordon has recently completed a large renovation project for Shawmut Design and Construction at the Chestnut Hill School in Newton, MA. This project consisted of a very complex roof frame as well as vast interior structural framing changes. Prior to the Chestnut Hill project, Gordon led an 8-12 man crew on the renovation of the Helping Hands Training facility in Brighton, MA for Payton Construction. Gordon has 24 years experience in the building trade and is a union carpenter.

Rick Semple - Foreman

Rick Semple

Specializing in commercial build-outs and residential building, spent 7 years working for himself under the name of Semple Construction. He also served the position of Sandwich Building Inspector in 1994. Rick recently completed the Court Square Project, a $600K interior project for 130 condo units in Boston’s South End for A.J. Martini. At the projects peak, Rick led 15 carpenters on a daily basis. Prior to Court Square, Rick oversaw the interior work at Highlander Nursing Home for Suffolk Construction. Rick is a union carpenter and licensed supervisor in Massachusetts.

Aaron Zell - Foreman

Aaron recently led his crew to complete a half-million dollar hardi-plank siding job in Cambridge, Massachusetts and all carpentry aspects of a ground up project at Tabor Academy for Suffolk Construction. Aaron holds 10 years experience in the building trade Aaron is a licensed Construction Supervisor in the State of Massachusetts. Aaron has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science in Natural Resources.

Brett Zell - Superintendent/Foreman

Specializing in interior trim, Brett oversaw the 20-man crew of the 36-unit condominium project in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts. Prior to the condo project Brett supervised a 30-man crew on a 1.3 million dollar condo project for Harvard University. Spaulding & Slye Colliers of Boston, MA was the Construction Manager. Prior to the Harvard project, Brett served as a carpenter foreman for interiors on an 80,000 sq ft mixed use building in Harvard Square in Cambridge for Intercontinental Real Estate Corp of Boston. Brett has spent the last 22 years working in the business from residential to commercial project. Brett also oversees all shop-oriented projects at Zell Builders. Brett is a licensed Construction Supervisor in the State of Massachusetts.

Eric Zell - Superintendent/Foreman

Eric recently supervised the construction of a 36-unit condominium project in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts coordinating all subcontractors, crews and building schedules. Prior to the condo project Eric was the supervisor on the Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation’s (IREC) headquarters building located at 1270 Soldiers Field Road, Boston. Prior to serving as a superintendent on the Soldiers Field Road project, Eric served as a foreman for Zell Builders on a 28 unit mill conversion project in Boston’s North End. Eric has spent the last 23 years working in the business from residential to commercial projects both small and large. Eric is a licensed Construction Supervisor in the State of Massachusetts.
